The Bodyguard is a jukebox musical inspired by the 1992 film of the same name. With a screenplay adapted by Alexander Dinelaris, this show features a repertoire of hits from Whitney Houston’s musical career, such as “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “I want to Dance With Somebody,” and “One Moment in Time,” along with iconic songs from the original film such as “I Will Always Love You,” “I’m Every Woman,” “I Have Nothing”, “Run to You” or “Queen of the Night”.
The plot centers on Rachel Marron, a pop star who, facing constant threats from an anonymous stalker, decides to hire Frank Farmer, a former secret agent turned professional bodyguard, to protect her.
